The Leap Year Cocktail

Who knew?  There is actually a cocktail that was allegedly invented on February 29, 1928.  It calls for gin - so it may not be for me - but by all means, have at it (via Slate)

The Leap Year Cocktail 
Yield: 1 serving
Time: A couple to 3 minutes

• 2 ounces gin
• ½ ounce Grand Marnier
• Scant ½ ounce sweet vermouth 
• Generous ½ ounce lemon juice 
• Lemon twist for garnish 

Shake the gin, Grand Marnier, vermouth, and lemon juice with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.
