Sorry, wrong sport, but I can't get that out of my head. Congratulations to the boys in red and blue who stopped the fantasy cold. NJM, ACK (though he doesn't read this blog), others, I feel for you. But you had to lose sometime.
And it was a helluva game.

As a lifelong Eagles fan, I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be happy about a Giants Super Bowl win. Well, tonight I'm downright ecstatic. Super-congratulations to the entire Giants squad, and particularly to their defense. A great game to watch, and a wonderful outcome!!
I'll say this. Any Defense that manages to completely shut down the Patriots offense probably deserves to win. I had a gut feeling that they couldn't pull off a perfect season, but, really, couldn't they have lost to the Giants in December.
Uhm, yeah, so: Congrats and whatnot.
Oh, well. I won money anyway.
It was a good game and the Giants deserved to win.

J - You seem to consistently win the first comment post award. If I didn't know better, I would swear you were in my living room and watching me hit "publish."
njm - look at it this way, you still have those idiots who won for you on your birthday.
amy - and you still have those bums who beat up on my Yankees. And what are you doing rooting for the Pats anyway?
DD - There's a penalty flag on the field! The Brave Astronaut does not advocate gambling, unless it is for his benefit. You may send a check at your convenience.
Yeah, the Giants definitely deserved to win the game. And as usual, the worst part of the experience was the announcing: how about telling us why things are happening, not just parroting what we've already seen. (Joe: "The Patriots cannot get anything going on the ground." Troy: "Yeah, the Giants have really shut down Maroney. The Patriots have not been able to establish anything in terms of yards on the ground." Brilliant.)
It's in the mail! :)
